This Privacy Policy has been created in order to disclose to you, the user, the information collection, use and disclosure for our website www.low-bids.com.
Collection of Personal Information
We take your electronic privacy seriously. While we are the sole owner of the information we gather on the Website and during the course of a Low-Bids Auction Club, we will not share any of your information with any outside party without your explicit consent unless we are required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of the law, cooperate with law enforcement or other government agencies, or comply with a legal process served on the Website or Low-Bids Auction Club service, or by court order.
There are three kinds of information that obtain about you:
Aggregate Information: Aggregate Information is anonymous data that we use to analyse trends, administer the Website and Low-Bids Auction Club, diagnose problems, track users' movement, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use and to help improve the quality of the web pages and Low-Bids Auction Clubs. It may be your domain name, your IP address, or mobile phone network provider. None of this information is connected with Personally Identifiable Information.
Personally Identifiable Information: Personally Identifiable Information is any information that personally identifies you. When you become a member, we ask you for personal details including name, postcode, date of birth, country of origin, gender, mobile phone number and email address.
Some of the information that we ask for is mandatory. It enables us to identify who is using the service and enables you, the user, to achieve the best possible results from Low-Bids Auction Clubs. All remaining fields of information can be completed at the user's discretion.
We also record other information including responses to promotions, giveaways and competitions. Whenever a page is requested from our web server, we record the time, date and URL of the request, along with information on the browser software that is being used. This information is collected to provide valuable research in better understanding the preferences of our members and to enable us to better target our communications, including competitions and prizes.
Low-Bids Auction Club Information: When you bid in a Low-Bids Auction Club, we will collect your mobile phone number, and any bids that you make for Lots on offer. During the course of a Low-Bids Auction Club, we record the time and date, in addition to your mobile phone number or email address.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on your hard drive containing information about you. The use of cookies on Websites is a common industry standard. Cookies act as unique identifiers, used to distinguish different members. They enable us to track and target your interests to enhance your experience on our site. For instance, by setting a cookie on the Website, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Once you log out of your browser, the cookie simply terminates. Please note that even after we have terminated a cookie, remnants of that cookie may remain on your computer. These remnants are normally inactive.
The Website uses cookies to allow access to "members only" sections. By rejecting a cookie, a user can still access the Website, but has restricted access to "members only" sections. For example, you would not be able to participate in any of our competitions taking place.
Some of our business partners use cookies on the Website (for example, advertisers). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies or any information collected by these business partners.
We may use cookies when we conduct voting polls, surveys, and contests to limit multiple responses and registrations. We may also send third parties information from cookies to enable them to deliver more personalised advertising to you.
We will never use cookies to retrieve information from your computer that was not originally sent by us to you in a cookie.
As most browsers automatically accept cookies, you can modify your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. By modifying your browser, it is possible that some parts of the site, such as the voting polls, surveys, contest, and game areas, will not function to their full capacity.
Spamming
"Spamming" can be defined as sending mass unsolicited emails and/or Short Messages (SMS). We will only send you promotional material where we have your express permission, unless there is a legal or operational requirement for us to do so. If you receive promotional material that you no longer wish to receive, please notify us to modify your database record. For more information on our No Spam, No Scam Guarantee, click here.
Data Quality and Security of Personal Information
We take reasonable precautions to protect your security. We use encryption technology to ensure information is protected when being sent over the Internet. Unfortunately, there is always a risk involved in sending information through any channel including the Internet and you do so entirely at your own risk.
Your user name and password created upon registration play an important role in keeping your personal information secure. If you suspect that your user name and password have been disclosed to an unauthorised person(s), we suggest you immediately alter your details or instruct Low-Bids Auction Club to do this for you.
Low-Bids Auction Club will not be held responsible for any unauthorised access of information, unauthorised use of information or if your information is accessed through unauthorised or improper use of your account or membership privileges due to your failure to adequately secure your password.
Authorised employees and contractors will have limited access to your personal information where it is necessary to enable them to perform relative functions. Low-Bids Auction Club and our associated agencies and companies are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us.
Notification of Changes to Privacy Policy
Any amendments to this Privacy Policy will be posted on the Website so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use Personally Identifiable Information for a secondary purpose (and in an unrelated manner to the primary purpose), we will notify users by way of an email and provide an "opt-out" clause with every communication.
